Discover how to make nutritious bread using traditional methods which enhance the natural flavours of the flour. The mysteries of sough dough starters will be explained and techniques for kneading and proving explored. This hands-on learning will result in you making and tasting your own bread.
We offer a one day introduction, or a more comprehensive two day experience and you take home the tasty results in addition to your own starter culture to continue your sour dough journey. Armed with tips, good techniques, recipes and confidence you'll soon be baking your own loaves. Class size is limited to a maximum of four, so expect a high level of personal attention.
Typically a day will run from 10:00 am until around 5:00 pm.
